Aurora in the Evening Sky

Small circular stars sit and twinkle in the sky;

thinking,

blinking.

The small white sun grows brilliantly

turning and growing in the

atmosphere red and orange.

Visions of arrant ruby reds,

plus purples and emerald greens

that stain the sky can be seen from afar.

While wishful comets fly by

tiny clouds form breathless angel wings that

make the sky an oil painting on canvas.

This nature,

this aurora…

this splendor.

Thanks. It’s an old high school “Local Colors” poem. Gotta get more content on the website for Google to crawl 🙂

This article is about the 1996 film. For newspapers with the name, see Evening Star (newspaper) and Star (newspaper) . For other uses, see Evening Star (disambiguation) .

it’s actually not but I like that you could pull a comparative reference from the recesses of your brain. What is that, 26 years ago? Nice memory, buddy!
