My nephew wrote a poem to God for his “Man Class” with the church. We made my niece write one too. The writing is so precious and even though my niece struggled, they both did a nice job.
Dear God,
We all do things we can’t undo, some things by accident, some things on purpose.
But we all know You will forgive us.

Dear God,
You love me so despite the rough road, this I know. We listen and wait for your Word that the world may know it’s not absurd.
We teach, all about You, but quite often we a, “Boo!”
We never give up, even hard work.
But at the end of the day, we have the last smirk.
Every so often, we get on our knees,
Some are praises some are bad degrees.
When the devil tries to tempt us,
We will use your words to hit him like bugs.
He’ll see the might of your power
And he’ll attempt one last move to devour.
He’ll look for someone to hurt
But You’re the ultimate healer and you can comfort.
The devil will lose
And it’ll leave a big bruise
But Your Word will lead the way
Every night and every day.
